About you and this position
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Finance Support Officer will be able to put their current or previous studies into action by providing support and assistance to the Finance team. The role will provide exposure and experience across a broad range of duties, including the preparation of key finance documents, surveys and documentation ready for audit, maintaining Council’s Schedule of Fees and Charges, reviewing purchase orders, processing journals and reconciliations and providing assistance to Council’s Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Rates processes, along with supporting other finance related functions.

This position is a permanent, part time (17 hours per week) position and is classified as a Grade 2 under the Campbelltown Municipal Officers Staff Enterprise Agreement No.10, 2021 and relevant Award.
To be eligible to apply for this position candidates will need to supply a copy of any qualifications/licences etc. The preferred candidate will also need to pass a pre-employment medical and submit a police clearance (funded by Council).
