The role is also offering some great employment conditions that include training and professional development opportunities.About you and this positionReporting to the Manager Governance, this position is responsible for:Maintaining documents and undertaking key governance tasks to support legislative complianceUnder direction, coordinating governance reviews and key documents including Council’s Annual Report, delegations and authorisations documents, and policies and proceduresPreparing Council reports and recommendations on governance and policy related issuesSupporting strategic and corporate planning responsibilities including administrative tasks to ensure compliance.Supporting our Records Team by undertaking Freedom of Information reviews and other tasks from time to time. As a successful candidate, you will have:Proven experience in a relevant administrative roleExperience preparing corporate reports and/or publicationsExperience in coordinating project planning such as document and information management.Desirable: Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline; a Freedom of Information accreditation; experience in a corporate governance support role, implementing legislation changes (particularly Local Government Act 1999), coordinating and drafting policies and procedures; proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.This position is available on a part-time basis (48 hours per fortnight) is available for immediate start for a period of 12 months, and is classified as a Grade 4 under the Campbelltown Municipal Officers Staff Enterprise Agreement No 11, 2024 and the relevant Award.
