About this positionAs a member of our Community Services & Social Development team, you will play a key role in supporting Campbelltown City Council through administering Council’s volunteer and other community programs.Reporting to Manager, Community Services & Social Development, you will:Coordinate recruitment, selection, induction, training, procedures and associated paperwork for Council volunteersMaintain Council’s ‘Better Impact’ volunteer databaseProvide support and information to Council Staff who coordinate volunteers Coordinate Council wide volunteer recognition eventsPromote volunteering opportunities in other groups and organisations in the Council area Administer Council’s Community Grant and Private Bus subsidy program Undertake administrative tasks to support the Community Services & Social Development team To be successful in this role you will have:Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to get along with everyone Excellent organisational and administration skills Experience working with volunteers, or as a volunteerA valid working with children’s check or willingness to obtainTo be eligible to apply for this position, you will need to supply a copy of any qualifications, licences etc. upon request.
