The role is also offering some great employment conditions that include training and professional development opportunities.About you and this position:Campbelltown City Council’s Library Service is currently looking for a Casual Library Assistant.This exciting role will give the successful applicant experience in many aspects of the library service including shifts at our circulation desk, toy library and assisting with children’s programs and events.As a successful candidate you will:Have previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a public library environment (essential)Have a current/valid Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one (essential)Enjoy working as part of a team to provide a great customer experience for the Community Possess good numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skillsBe able to demonstrate your knowledge of the SA Public Library Network, library practices and automated library management systemsDemonstrate a positive mindset to problem solving.This position is a casual position and is classified as a Grade 1 Step 3 (plus superannuation and 25% casual loading) under the Campbelltown Municipal Officers Staff Enterprise and relevant Award.
