The role is also offering some great employment conditions that include training and professional development opportunities. About You and This PositionWe are currently looking for a City works Team Leader to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of a range of civil infrastructure maintenance services, which are related to the day-to-day maintenance of Council Infrastructure Assets.In this role, you will ensure the smooth operations of the city works team by leading and motivating the team, coordinating and monitoring workloads, managing staff performance, assisting with the preparation and monitoring of relevant budgets, maintaining relevant Council databases (e.g. ECM, CRM) and liaising with residents, Council staff/contractors and other stakeholders as required. You will also be committed to providing a high level of customer service, have a proactive approach towards workplace health and safety, and have a sound knowledge of the local area.To be successful in this position you will have:Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sector and/or qualifications in construction and maintenance (essential)Experience in hazard and risk identification and maintenance practices for civil infrastructure.Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket (essential)Demonstrated experience in supervising, leading and motivating a team (essential)Current and valid Driver’s Licence & MR Licence (essential)Sound experience in using computers, Microsoft Products (e.g., Word, Projects, Excel) and Corporate System (e.g., Finance One, ECM) (essential)Broad experience in the operation of machinery, plant and equipment, hand and power tools (desirable)Front Line Management skills (desirable)This full time, permanent position is classed as a Grade 8 step 2 under the City of Campbelltown Field Staff Enterprise Agreement and relevant Award. To be eligible to apply for this position, you will need to supply a copy of any qualifications, licences etc. upon request.
